As a Mainframe Operations Technician, you will be working for our client, a leading player in mainframe and enterprise systems management. Your expertise will drive the seamless operation of critical systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for global clients. Your main responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize mainframe environments, including Z/OS, TWS, and DB2, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor system health using tools like Dynatrace and Control-M, proactively addressing issues before they impact operations.
• Implement and support automation strategies using CFT/Connect Express and Control-M to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support open systems on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Follow ITIL V4 best practices to maintain high standards of service delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide expert guidance on mainframe and open system environments.
• Contribute to project planning, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a technical champion for mainframe and enterprise system operations.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 2 years of experience in mainframe or enterprise IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of Z/OS, TWS, DB2, and control-m automation tools.
• Experience with Open Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Professional understanding of ITIL V4 frameworks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to system management.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English and French (B2 level)
