Job summary

ME Lisbon, part of Melia Hotels International, seeks a Doorman to greet guests, assist with doors and logistics, and ensure a warm, brand-aligned welcome from arrival to departure.

You will help with taxis, provide local information, keep the lobby tidy, and escalate issues when needed. Hospitality training and at least 1 year in a similar role are preferred; Portuguese is required, second language a plus.

Qualifications

• Education in hospitality or tourism
• Safety or first aid training valued
• Portuguese language required; additional language a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities

• Welcome and farewell guests according to brand standards (doors, elevators)
• Assist with transportation needs and taxi services
• Provide information on local attractions, hotel services and exits
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance
• Handle guest complaints and escalate as needed
