Job summary

BYD Iberia is seeking a logistics professional to ensure the smooth flow of goods from factory to retail partners across our automotive network. You will optimize supply chain processes and support regulatory compliance in a dynamic, international context.

You will coordinate transport modes (sea, rail, road) and collaborate with freight forwarders, customs, and internal teams to drive cost, time, and quality improvements in a fast-growing zero-emission mobility company.

Qualifications

• Logistics experience in automotive industry or similar.
• Strong management and communication with service providers.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Fluent in Spanish and business English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and optimize the supply chain from factory to delivery to retail partners.
• Manage logistics providers, monitor performance, and handle escalations.
• Coordinate transport modes (sea, rail, road) focusing on cost, time, quality.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations.
• Analyze logistics processes and derive efficiency measures.
• Verify, reconcile, and file vendor invoices for timely processing.
• Support projects for process optimization in operations.

Your Mission

Your mission is to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods from the factory to our retail partners by coordinating logistics operations and transport providers. You will contribute to optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting continuous improvements across the operations area.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning, monitoring, and optimizing the supply chain from the factory to delivery to our retail partners.

Operational and strategic management of logistics and transport service providers, including performance monitoring, escalation handling, and contract management.

Coordination of transport modes (sea, rail, and road) with a focus on cost, time, and quality.

Collaboration with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal departments.

Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and import regulations.

Analyzing logistics processes and deriving measures to improve efficiency.

Verificating, reconciliating, and filing of vendor invoices to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Supporting projects aimed at process optimization within the operations area.

What You Bring

Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration.

Professional experience in logistics, allocation, or production planning, in the automotive sector.

Strong management and communication skills in dealing with logistics/transport service providers and business partners.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, combined with strong team spirit.

Excellent Spanish skills and business-fluent English skills.
