Pwmg is seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee lifting operations on a major data centre construction project in Sines, Portugal. The role requires ensuring activities are planned, coordinated and performed safely per lift plans, with accommodation and transport support provided.

The successful candidate will supervise crane teams, verify equipment compliance, and maintain site paperwork while promoting a strong safety culture on site in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Experience as Lifting Supervisor on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, crane activities and accessories.
• Ability to interpret lift plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work in Portugal and provide right-to-work docs.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate lifting operations across the project.
• Ensure compliance with lift plans and risk assessments.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate crane operators, riggers, signallers.
• Verify equipment and certification are in date.
• Maintain lifting documentation and inspection records.
• Promote safety culture across lifting operations.
