Pwmg is seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to oversee lifting operations for a major data centre construction project in Sines, Portugal. The role requires coordination of crane operators, riggers, and signalling teams while maintaining safe practices and compliant lift plans.

The successful candidate will supervise pre-lift briefings, monitor weather and site constraints, and liaise with construction managers to ensure safe, efficient lifts.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Lifting Supervisor on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, crane activities, rigging and lifting accessories.
• Ability to interpret lift plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of construction site health and safety requirements.
• Confident coordinating multiple lifting teams and subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations across the project.
• Ensure lifting activities are completed in accordance with lift plans and risk assessments.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks with lifting teams.
• Coordinate crane operators, riggers, slingers/signallers and other personnel involved in lifting activities.
• Verify lifting equipment, accessories and certification are compliant and within inspection dates.
