PE Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to manage day-to-day site logistics for a major data centre project in Sines, Portugal. You will supervise deliveries, material handling, site movements and associated coordination to keep the programme on track.

Working on a two-week rotation pattern, you will liaise with the Logistics Manager, subcontractors and suppliers, ensure safety standards, and maintain clear logistics documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in logistics, supply chain, construction or similar.
• 3–5 years' experience in logistics or site coordination on construction/engineering projects.
• Experience supporting site logistics on large construction projects.
• Solid understanding of traffic management, material handling and site coordination practices.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Awareness of Health & Safety requirements in site logistics.
• Experience in data centre, industrial or mission-critical projects is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise day-to-day site logistics activities across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate deliveries, material handling, and site movements to ensure efficiency and minimal disruption.
• Monitor site access, traffic management and safety records in line with standards.
• Collaborate with the Logistics Manager, Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers to align logistics with the programme.
• Oversee storage areas and ensure materials are stored safely and organised.
• Supervise logistics subcontractors and site personnel, including daily coordination and performance monitoring.
• Maintain logistics documentation, permits and safety records up to date.
• Attend site meetings, toolbox talks and logistics coordination meetings.
• Identify and report logistical risks, including congestion and delays.
• Support the project team in maintaining a safe and well-organised site environment.
• Assist in preparing logistics reports and updates for the project team.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
• Report logistics issues and support timely resolutions.
