Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead on-site safety and mechanical activities for data centre projects in Sines, Portugal. You will oversee field teams, coordinate with contractors and ensure installations meet drawings and specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems in data centers. This is a hands-on site position with opportunities for career progression.

Qualificações

• 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Supervisor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, ideally within a data center environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety on site and promote safe practices across all trades.
• Chair weekly toolbox talks and maintain daily safety focus on site.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, walkdowns and close actions.
• QA mechanical works to confirm installations meet drawings, specs and standards.
• Complete inspections, snagging, and sign off QA documentation.
• Prepare weekly progress reports outlining progress and issues.
• Coordinate mechanical works with other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Produce two-week lookahead programmes for upcoming activities.
• Manage labour levels in line with the programme.
• Maintain high quality standards across all mechanical installations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and address issues early.
