Job summary

Sener is seeking a senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to data centers and critical infrastructures. You will lead mechanical work packages, coordinate with architecture, electrical, and commissioning teams, and mentor engineers.

The role requires extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing and sewage, fire protection, and redundancy criteria. You will develop and review calculations, schematics, specifications, and equipment data sheets, ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience as a mechanical design engineer for complex buildings.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and sewage, fire protection and smoke detection systems.
• Designing critical systems with redundancy, availability, maintainability and continuity of service.
• Ability to develop and review calculations, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation for HVAC, Fire and Plumbing.
• Strong client and contractor liaison skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team; eager to learn new areas.
• Commitment to quality, detail and deadlines.
• Knowledge of local and international standards; high level of English; safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage all mechanical aspects (HVAC, Fire and Plumbing) of projects, mainly in construction.
• Perform calculations and review mechanical design criteria, data sheets, specs and standards.
• Select equipment and review criteria: Chillers, Pumps, terminal equipment, fans and VRV systems.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to mechanical engineers and other disciplines.
• Verify redundancy and service continuity requirements of the project.
• Prepare and review mechanical project documentation and technical reports.
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, civil, structural and commissioning teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical design.
• Assist on site to supervise execution, ensure compliance and issue change orders as needed.
• Review As-built documentation and ensure correct material layouts and on-site installation quality.
