IRIUM is seeking a Java Back End – Junior in Lisbon to help develop scalable backend services using Java Spring and modern frameworks. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the Lisbon office and requires English at least C1 and willingness to work within Agile practices.

You will contribute to backend components, participate in Sprint Planning, and grow with a dynamic team in a company offering training, flexible pay options, and a commitment to equality and professional development.

Qualificações

• Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring.
• Experience developing and enhancing backend software components.
• Ability to execute development tasks independently while applying development best practices and standards.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges by analysing recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions.
• Experience collaborating with team members to continuously improve software components and development processes.
• Active participation in Sprint Planning and Review sessions.
• Ability to contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to development-related challenges.
• Knowledge-sharing mindset to support team goals and collective technical expertise.
• Knowledge of modern software development and Agile practices.
• English – minimum C1
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon

Requirements

We are currently looking for a Java Back End – Junior to join a challenging project, contributing to the development and enhancement of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

Required Competencies

• Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring
• Experience developing and enhancing backend software components

Salary Range: €*****–€***** gross/month
