IRIUM Portugal in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java Back End to join a challenging project, taking a key role in the design and development of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Lisbon.

Salary ranges from €3,300 to €3,700 gross per month, with fixed, variable, meal allowance, remote work, and benefits.

• Proven experience with Java Spring backend development.
• Ability to design, develop and enhance scalable, high-performance software components.
• Experience in Agile development environments and technical decision-making.
• Fluency in English (C1) for collaboration with international teams.

We are currently looking for: Java Back End – Senior

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Back End to join a challenging project, taking a key role in the design and development of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

Required Competencies:

• Java Spring
• Strong experience in backend software development
• Experience designing, developing, and enhancing robust software components
• Experience developing scalable and high-performance applications
• Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to contribute to technical decisions and solutions across multiple teams
• Experience supporting and guiding team members through knowledge sharing and technical expertise
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for improving software solutions
• Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices
• English – minimum C1
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon
