IRIUM Portugal is seeking a Junior Java Back End developer to contribute to the development of scalable, high-performing software solutions in an Agile environment. The role is based in Lisbon with a hybrid model: 3 days per week in the office.

Qualificações

• Experience with Java Spring and backend components.
• Ability to work independently following development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• English at least C1.
• Availability to work in Lisbon, hybrid 3 days/week.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus.

Java Back End – Junior

Requirements

We are currently looking for a Java Back End – Junior to join a challenging project, contributing to the development and enhancement of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

Required Competencies

• Strong/expert proficiency in
• Java Spring
• Experience developing and enhancing backend software components
• Ability to execute development tasks independently while applying development best practices and standards
• Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges by analysing recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions
• Experience collaborating with team members to continuously improve software components and development processes
• Active participation in
• Sprint Planning and Review sessions
• Ability to contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to development-related challenges
• Knowledge-sharing mindset to support team goals and collective technical expertise
• Knowledge of modern software development and
• Agile practices
• English – minimum C1
• Availability to work
• 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon
