IRIUM is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack engineer to join a challenging project and take ownership of software components, delivering scalable, high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices. The role is based in Lisbon with a Hybrid work model: 3 days per week at the office, and a salary range of €3,300–€3,700 gross per month.

English must be at least C1, and experience with Java Spring is essential.

Requirements

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Full Stack to join a challenging project, taking ownership of software components and contributing to the development of scalable, high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices.

Required Competencies

• Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring
• Strong experience in software development, designing, coding and enhancing components across systems and applications
• Experience taking ownership of software components and ensuring their quality and performance
• Ability to analyse complex technical problems and contribute to the design of effective and scalable solutions
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align software development with business objectives
• Ability to contribute to key technical decisions and provide solutions across multiple teams
• Experience supporting and guiding less experienced colleagues through knowledge sharing and development best practices
• Ability to take responsibility for team decisions and contribute to effective team performance
• Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices
• Continuous improvement mindset, including the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies
• English – minimum C1
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon
