IRIUM is seeking a Senior Java Back End developer to join a challenging project in Lisbon. You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices. The role requires senior proficiency in Java Spring, strong backend experience, and the ability to guide teams.

Hybrid work model with 3 days per week in the Lisbon office. Salary range is €1,500–€1,900 gross per month, including all components such as meal

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Back End to join a challenging project, taking a key role in the design and development of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices. Required Competencies

Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring Strong experience in backend software development Experience designing, developing, and enhancing robust software components Experience developing scalable and high-performance applications Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams Ability to contribute to technical decisions and solutions across multiple teams Experience supporting and guiding team members through knowledge sharing and technical expertise Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for improving software solutions Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile practices English - minimum C1 Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon Preferred Competencies
