Arrow Global Portugal is seeking a junior IT Finance Controller in Lisbon to support the financial management of IT costs across all group companies. You will help record, track, and report IT expenses and assist in budget planning with IT Managers.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with strong Excel skills, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to data consolidation and cross-team collaboration in a tech-enabled finance environment.

Qualificações

  • Recent graduate or junior finance professional with relevant degree.
  • Up to 3 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data consolidation.
  • Attention to detail and good analytical abilities.

Responsabilidades

  • Process and catalogue IT invoices monthly and ensure accurate cost recording.
  • Consolidate IT budget across all group platforms.
  • Support annual IT budget planning with IT Managers.
  • Report monthly IT actuals and monitor budget variances.
  • Maintain compliant IT financial records and support audits.

Job Description

The IT Finance Controller is a junior role designed for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, looking to develop a career at the intersection of Finance and Information Technology. Working within the IT department within Service Management, this role is responsible for supporting the financial management of IT across all Arrow Global Portugal group companies, including Whitestar, Norfin, From, Restart, Maslow, Vilamoura World, Nexor, Transfor, Engespor, and Details HSL.

The IT Finance Controller will play a key role in ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of IT costs, as well as supporting the annual budget planning process in close collaboration with the IT Managers of each business area.

Invoice Management and Cost Recording
  • Process and catalogue all IT-related invoices on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate registration in the IT cost control file.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and organised repository of all IT financial documents.
IT Budget Aggregation
  • Consolidate and aggregate the IT budget across all group platforms: Whitestar, Norfin, From, Restart, Maslow, Vilamoura World, Nexor, Transfor, Engespor, and Details HSL.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of budget data across all business units.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated IT cost reports for management review.
Annual Budget Planning
  • Support the preparation of the annual IT budget in collaboration with the IT Manager of each business area.
  • Collect budget inputs, validate figures, and consolidate into a unified IT budget proposal.
  • Track budget assumptions and document key decisions throughout the planning cycle.
Actuals Reporting and Budget Monitoring
  • Report monthly actuals against budget for each company and cost category.
  • Identify and flag budget lines that have been fully consumed or are at risk of overspend.
  • Prepare clear and concise financial reports and dashboards to support IT management decisions.
Financial Control and Compliance
  • Ensure all IT financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing relevant financial documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT financial control processes and tools.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Up to 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related area (junior profile).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data consolidation.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and consolidate data from multiple sources.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Proactive, organised, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Interest in technology and willingness to learn about IT operations and cost management.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.
