Decskill is an IT consulting company expanding its production environments in Lisbon/Porto. We are seeking an IT Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to design, implement, and monitor scalable production and infrastructure services that support applications and teams across the organization.

You will work with Python, Dataiku, AWS/IBM clouds, Docker, and agile tools to build robust environments, ensure security and compliance, and continuously improve production operations.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Python and libraries (Pandas, Polars, SQLAlchemy, Psycopg2, ibmboto3).
• Dataiku mandatory; CI/CD, unit testing, versioning practiced.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, IBM) and Docker; Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, ALM).
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of PostgreSQL/Oracle databases; good English.

Responsabilidades

• Participating in defining technical solutions and promoting scalable production and security practices.
• Assembling production and infrastructure products, advising on technology adoption for applications.
• Support development teams to secure and speed up project delivery; implement user stories.
• Ensure monitoring, backups, and runbooks; contribute to production service levels and KPIs.
• Maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement of production services.

We are looking for an IT Cloud Infrastructure Administrator!

Responsabilities:

• Participating in the definition of the technical solution;
• Promoting solutions based on existing products and services, by nature integrating production and security requirements (resilience, monitoring, etc.) in order to reduce implementation time;
• Assembling production and infrastructure products and services for the benefit of applications, by advising on the adoption of technologies in line with application needs
• Anticipating issues of compliance with the rules and standards of architecture, security, delivery times and scaling of the solutions proposed.
• Integrating production and infrastructure requirements
• Ensuring that the infrastructure and operating requirements are added to the Product Backlog, as well as any technical user story deemed necessary (industrialisation, obsolescence management, etc.)
• Supporting development teams to secure and speed up project delivery
• Implementing technical user stories, independently or by coordinating the right players.
• Ensuring the upskilling of the team on application production best practices
• Raising awareness and spread best application production practices within the project team
• Training and supporting team members in taking ownership of the tools provided in the Agile framework.
• Ensuring the provision of Production and infrastructure resources by facilitating the deployment of solutions
• Providing the team with the right expertise / production service
• Service monitoring
• Technical environments (Production and non-Production)
• Checking the usability of the technical environments (backup/restore, data access, performance, etc.)
• Conducting or checking team security reviews
• Checking the traceability of access to machines (OS, storage space, routers, etc.) and correcting if necessary.
• Identifying operational blocking points (flows, security, network, etc.) then alert and propose action plans.
• Maintenance in operational condition
• Contributing to the definition of service levels and production indicators
• Implementing the monitoring and supervision of the Solution deployed in production
• Ensuring that up-to-date and validated installation and operating documentation is available
• Ensuring that a backup switchover plan (ICP) exists and is tested
• Providing support in case of blockage or incident on release versions
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of production in collaboration with Applications Production Support
• Escalating proposals to improve application production services as part of a continuous improvement process
• Identifying best practices and sharing them within your entity and within the group.
• Solving incidents within SLA.
• Move to dmzr as code.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python programming language and libraries such as Pandas, Polars, SQLAlchemy, Psycopg2, ibmboto3, etc.
• Mastery of good programming practices (CI/CD, unit testing, versioning, etc.) and Dataiku (mandatory).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, IBM, etc.) and containerization using Docker
• Agile Methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, ALM).
• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and best practices/optimizations . Strong understanding of SQL and one or more databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Good level of English.
