Job summary
Bosch Portugal in Aveiro is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain C/C++ application software for residential heat pumps. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into reliable software and participate through the full development lifecycle, including integration, testing, and maintenance.
Strong C/C++ skills, embedded software background, and experience with model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink) are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Typically five or more years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with production-quality C/C++ software, testing, debugging.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C/C++ application software for heat pumps and heating systems.
- Implement control strategies ensuring reliable hardware/software interaction.
- Contribute to software architecture, modular design, reviews and documentation.
- Integrate, test, and debug software across systems and platforms.
- Develop MATLAB/Simulink models where used and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support CI/CD, automated testing, and software delivery within an international team.
