Bosch Aveiro is seeking a Development Engineer to join a growing cross-functional team, focusing on residential heat pump solutions. You will specify, calculate, simulate and test components, author specs, and lead supplier discussions to deliver efficient Bosch products.

You will coordinate market introduction, support ramp-ups, and ensure safety certifications while applying FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM in a data-driven, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in component sizing, selection and hands-on laboratory validation.
• Background in HVAC product development.
• Familiarity with quality frameworks such as FMEA, DFMA, 8D and DRBFM.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsabilités

• Specify, calculate, simulate and physically test advanced heat pump components and systems.
• Author comprehensive technical specifications and lead technical discussions with global suppliers.
• Create and execute robust validation plans and document results.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and pursue product certifications.
• Coordinate market introduction activities and support ramp-up on production lines.
• Utilize FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM to optimize the existing portfolio.
