Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Portugal in Aveiro is seeking a Senior MATLAB/SIMULINK Software Engineer to support heat pump software through model-based development, understanding how software is designed, implemented, tested, integrated, and maintained.

You'll shape practical tools and workflows to enable continuous software development, delivering reproducible builds and reliable releases across international teams in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in software development in MATLAB and SIMULINK and agile practices at scale.
• Programming: Bash, Git, Python, Go, and C.
• DevOps Tooling: Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and GitHub.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Enable continuous development: design and improve workflows for software teams from development through testing and delivery.
• Enhance automation: automate builds, tests, code analysis, packaging, and releases with actionable feedback.
• Prioritize software quality: focus on testability, reproducible builds, version control, traceability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with engineers: work with software teams to implement platform improvements.
• Improve developer experience: reduce repetitive work and support frequent, reliable changes.
