Bosch Home Comfort Portugal is seeking a Mechanical Development Engineer to join the Aveiro team on residential heat pump solutions. You will contribute to innovative Bosch products with high performance while aiming to reduce carbon footprint.

You will work in a cross-functional environment, performing design, validation, and collaboration with global partners. The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Structured, analytical and data-driven approach to engineering challenges.

Responsabilités

• Specify, calculate, simulate and test advanced heat pump components and systems for maximum efficiency.
• Lead technical discussions with global suppliers and authors of specifications.
• Create robust validation plans and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate product market introduction activities and support production ramp-up.
• Drive quality through FMEA, 8D, and DRBFM frameworks.
