Bosch Home Comfort Portugal is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain C/C++ software for heat pumps and heating systems in Aveiro. The role integrates software with hardware and thermal processes, requiring strong debugging and testing capabilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to software architecture, and work within a hybrid, full-time setup. Fluency in English is expected, with Portuguese being advantageous.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Typically five or more years of relevant professional software development experience in embedded systems or application software.
• Hands-on experience developing production-quality software in C and C++, including testing, debugging, and maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain application software in C and C++ for heat pumps and related heating systems.
• Implement control strategies and product functions, ensuring reliable interaction between software, hardware, and thermal processes.
• Contribute to software architecture, modular design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
