CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club in Comporta, Portugal is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to oversee daily housekeeping operations and uphold the club’s high standards of presentation and cleanliness.

You will coordinate with Member Services, Experience, Maintenance, Security, and Food & Beverage, log requests, assign tasks, monitor inspections, and ensure timely delivery of exceptional service to our Members.

Qualificações

• Log, communicate and follow up on requests to deliver prompt, excellent service for Members.

• Process requests, delegate work, and follow up to ensure completion.
• Inform leadership of operational issues and take proactive steps to address day‑to‑day needs.
• Lead coordination of housekeeping staff, daily assignments, and inspections of public areas.

Costaterra is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to join the Residential Services Department.

Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club is part of DLC – Discovery Land Company (DLC). DLC is known for developing luxury residential communities and resorts.

Costaterra is a private members only residential community in Comporta – Portugal. It combines luxury living with top‑tier hospitality, offering incredible dining, a world‑class golf course, spa services, outdoor pursuits, and immersive local experiences.

Housekeeping Coordinator

The main responsibility of the Housekeeping Coordinator is to coordinate the daily operations of the Housekeeping department. This includes ensuring that the department provides the highest level of service through effective communication and follow‑up. The Housekeeping Coordinator also acts as a liaison between the housekeeping department and other departments such as Member Services, Experience, Maintenance, Security, and Food and Beverage to ensure that the team consistently maintain a high standard of presentation and cleanliness throughout the Club.

What you will do?

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service;
• Handle all calls for the Housekeeping department and ensures all messages, information and requests are logged, communicated promptly and accurately to provide prompt delivery of excellent service for our Members.
• Process requests and delegate work assignments promptly, follow up to ensure proper completion.
• In charge of conveying all operational issues to the leadership team and taking proactive steps to address any day‑to‑day operational issues.
• Lead the coordination of all Housekeeping employees and activities, including opening and closing the office, daily assignments, inspection of public areas, evening service assignments, and other special tasks.
• Stay fully informed about all housekeeping services, Club facilities, and operating hours for all outlets and areas of the Club.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up‑to‑date inventory of all Housekeeping supplies.
• Coordinate with management to order supplies as needed.
• Generate operational reports to help coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping department.
• Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
• Review opportunities for improved productivity and greater efficiency.
• Ensure that applicable policies and procedures, regulatory ordinances, governing laws and generally accepted protocol and practices are followed.
• Establish and communicate clearly defined goals and objectives for department employees
• Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills and fulfilling special guest requests.
