j. awan & partners is seeking a Group Senior Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day Marketing function across two businesses: a GRC advisory practice and a RegTech SaaS platform.
You will translate priorities into a coordinated quarterly roadmap, align cross-functional teams, and ensure marketing activities drive qualified pipeline, advisory demand, product adoption and revenue outcomes. The role combines hands-on execution with strategic governance, reporting to the Fractional CMO during
At j. awan & partners, we believe in \"challenging the status quo every day\", delivering seamless excellence to our customers across the world. We challenge the status quo by making tailor-made solutions to meet the specific requirements of our clients' business interests and delivering our solutions to their needs with effective simplicity. We understand that time is precious and, as such, our tailor-made solutions are simple to understand, simple to embed, and simple to use.
We are a fast-growing international Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Consultancy headquartered in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC), with offices across the UAE, KSA, UK & Ireland, Singapore, Portugal, Pakistan, Qatar, and South Africa.
We also have our own technology company, azakaw, creating bespoke, cutting-edge RegTech solutions. We provide Regulatory Governance, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment, and Technology services to a large number of clients including global, regional, and local financial services institutions, governments, and other industry partners.
The Group Senior Marketing Manager runs the day-to-day Marketing function across two distinct businesses: j. awan partners, a GRC advisory and professional services business, and azakaw, a RegTech SaaS platform with a sales-led B2B GTM motion and a new azakaw PLG motion. The role combines team leadership, prioritisation, GTM orchestration and performance management. The Manager translates agreed business and GTM priorities into a coordinated quarterly roadmap, aligns the specialist team around delivery, coordinates cross-functional execution and ensures Marketing activity is connected to qualified pipeline, advisory demand, product adoption and revenue outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role: the Manager is expected to stay close to campaign and programme execution, understand the detail behind delivery and performance issues, challenge and support functional owners, and step into the work where needed to unblock progress or improve execution quality without becoming the permanent executor of specialist activities.
During the initial transition period, the Manager will work closely with the Fractional CMO, who will continue to support overall GTM and Marketing strategy across both businesses, positioning and Messaging Framework governance, Marketing operating systems and organisation design, and major strategic initiatives such as azakaw PLG and the new website. The Manager owns the day-to-day operating cadence and execution system across j. awan partners and azakaw, with enough strategic judgement to manage priorities, trade-offs and performance within that direction.
The multidisciplinary Marketing team has clear priorities, accountability, regular operating cadences and effective coaching. Capacity and workload are actively managed across two businesses and three GTM motions.
One prioritised quarterly roadmap connects j. awan partners and azakaw's sales-led and new PLG motions while preserving the distinct GTM logic of advisory services and SaaS. Objectives, owners, dependencies, resources and success measures are visible and trade-offs are actively managed.
Major campaigns and strategic initiatives move from approved priorities to coordinated delivery with clear owners, milestones, dependencies, tracking and follow-through. The Manager stays close enough to execution to identify gaps, challenge issues and help unblock delivery when needed.
Marketing contribution to qualified pipeline, opportunities and revenue is visible by business, motion and channel. Performance reviews lead to clear scale, fix, pause or stop recommendations.
The advisory GTM plan is translated into coordinated thought leadership, practitioner-led content, events and roundtables, market activation and relationship-led demand, with clear Sales/BD follow-up and pipeline visibility.
azakaw's sales-led demand generation and new PLG motion are executed with clear Product and RevOps alignment, from launch and acquisition through activation, lifecycle and conversion where relevant; messaging remains evidence-based and aligned with the approved framework.
This is not a pure Campaign Manager, project coordinator, Performance Marketing, content production or HubSpot administration role. The Manager has real responsibility for leading the Marketing team, managing priorities and capacity, and making day-to-day decisions across both businesses. At the same time, it is not a senior Head of Marketing or CMO mandate responsible for independently defining overall Marketing strategy, positioning or corporate GTM direction. The role sits between those layers: strong people leadership and GTM orchestration, supported by enough strategic judgement to translate agreed direction into effective execution and performance. Functional specialists retain ownership of channel execution and subject-matter expertise.
Lead and develop the multidisciplinary Marketing team across Performance Marketing, Product & Content Marketing, Field Marketing and Brand & Design, while coordinating external specialist support such as SEO. Run weekly and monthly operating cadences and 1:1s; clarify ownership and priorities; manage workload and capacity across j. awan partners, azakaw's sales-led GTM motion and the new azakaw PLG motion; coach specialists; and identify capability gaps. Success: clear accountability, stronger team effectiveness and fewer conflicting or reactive requests.
Translate agreed strategy and the existing GTM plans for j. awan partners, azakaw's sales-led GTM motion and the new azakaw PLG motion into one prioritised quarterly roadmap. Maintain clarity on objective, ICP/persona, market, offer, funnel stage, CTA, channel approach, KPI, ownership and resource requirements while respecting the different economics and buying motions of advisory services and SaaS. Success: priorities are explicit, trade-offs are managed and delivery remains aligned to business needs and capacity.
Own the orchestration layer from approved priority to delivery, while remaining close enough to execution to understand what is happening on the ground. Review campaign plans, briefs, workflows, assets and performance with functional owners; challenge gaps; help solve delivery issues; and step in where needed to unblock progress. Structure plans with owners, milestones, dependencies and timelines; coordinate Marketing, Sales/BD/SDRs, Product, RevOps, SEO and SMEs; and ensure launch, follow-up and post-campaign review happen. Success: stronger delivery discipline, better execution quality and cross-functional follow-through.
Review channel and campaign performance with functional owners across paid acquisition, CRO, nurture, events, content, thought leadership and other priority programmes. Connect activity to qualified pipeline, opportunity creation, source-to-pipeline/revenue, conversion, CAC/payback where measurable and sales-cycle signals, and recommend scale, fix, pause or stop actions. Success: performance drives prioritisation and resource decisions.
Execute and orchestrate the j. awan partners GTM plan across its professional services motions. Translate practice and market priorities into coordinated thought leadership, practitioner-led content, events and roundtables, targeted market activity, relationship-led demand and Sales/BD follow-up. Work with practice leaders and SMEs to protect subject-matter credibility and ensure activity supports qualified advisory pipeline. Success: j. awan priorities move into market consistently, practitioner expertise is activated and pipeline contribution is visible.
Execute azakaw GTM across its established sales-led GTM motion and the new azakaw PLG motion. Work with Product, Performance Marketing, RevOps and the Fractional CMO to coordinate acquisition, launch, activation, education, lifecycle and measurement, and apply the same delivery discipline to major azakaw initiatives such as website and market-development projects. Success: azakaw initiatives progress with clear ownership, Product/RevOps handoffs and performance signals.
Act as the main day-to-day Marketing integration point with Leadership, Sales/BD/SDRs, Product, RevOps and j. awan practice stakeholders. Translate needs into structured priorities, manage dependencies and trade-offs, and support appropriate localisation across different regulatory environments and buyer cultures. Ensure execution remains aligned with the approved Messaging Framework and involve Product and Practice SMEs for proof and accuracy. Success: clearer priorities, consistent messaging and fewer ad hoc requests fragmenting the plan.
Define campaign tracking, segmentation, routing and attribution requirements with RevOps; ensure Marketing performance can be measured from source to pipeline/revenue; and embed AI-enabled workflows and controlled autonomous agents where they improve speed, consistency and insight. This includes detecting buyer intent or relevant signals, triggering predefined workflows, routing leads or accounts and surfacing next-best actions. Human accountability remains in place for material commercial, messaging and customer-facing decisions. Success: reporting reliability improves, intent signals are acted on faster and automation supports rather than complicates the operating system.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred. Relevant commercial experience and demonstrated results carry greater weight than credentials alone.
Typically 6+ years in B2B Marketing, including experience leading or supervising a multidisciplinary team and coordinating integrated campaigns or programmes across functions. Strong exposure to SaaS/software/technology, demand generation, content/product marketing, events and CRM/Marketing Automation is expected; exposure to professional services or advisory marketing is valuable. The role requires strong execution leadership and commercial judgement rather than CMO-level strategy ownership.
Experience launching or scaling a PLG/self-service motion; working across sales-led and product-led models; professional services/advisory marketing; HubSpot; fintech, RegTech, financial services, compliance or another regulated environment; multi-market Marketing; AI-enabled workflows and autonomous agents; and external agencies/specialist partners.
