Jumia in Porto, Portugal is seeking an Internship Global Program - Service Management Intern to join a centralised Service Management team. You will help shape processes for Tier 1 events, infrastructure readiness, and cross-border coordination.

You will support global event readiness, application lifecycle checks, and go-live support, while documenting procedures and driving continuous improvement with Engineering, Security, and Operations teams.

Qualificações

• Degree or CET in IT, Information Systems, CS, or related field (ongoing or recently completed).
• Strong written and verbal English communications; comfortable with cross-border calls.

Responsabilidades

• Global Event Readiness: build and maintain checklists, run-books, and docs for Tier 1 Events across countries.
• Application Life-cycle Management: support lifecycle for new applications and ensure infrastructure/security prerequisites are met at launch.
• Cross-Function Coordination: organise readiness reviews and dry-run sessions with Engineering, Security, Operations, and Service Management.
• Contract Readiness: verify infrastructure contracts are active and extended for go-lives and high-traffic events.
• Go-Live Support: track readiness criteria, follow up on items, and provide war room support during Tier 1 Events.
• Continuous Improvement: capture lessons learned from incidents and go-lives to improve readiness frameworks.
