Jumia is seeking a Service Management Associate in Porto to help shape our processes for Tier 1 events, ensuring infrastructure, security, and global teams align for launches.

You will support readiness checklists, runbooks, and documentation, coordinate with Engineering, Security, Operations, and Service Management, and contribute to continuous improvement of our operational standards. The role offers exposure to international teams and strong ownership opportunities for career growth.

Qualificações

• Degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related IT field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Impeccable attention to detail with organizational skills.
• Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability in a fast-paced team.
• Familiar with Google Workspace and IT service management basics.

Responsabilidades

• Global Event Readiness: Build readiness checklists, run-books, and documentation for Tier 1 Events.
• Application Life-cycle Management: Support lifecycle for applications and confirm prerequisites are met at launch.
• Cross-Function Coordination: Organise readiness reviews and dry-run sessions with Engineering, Security, Operations, and Service Management.
• Contract Readiness: Verify infrastructure contracts are organized and extended as needed for go-lives.
• Go-Live Support: Track readiness criteria and provide war room support during Tier 1 Events.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather lessons learned and feed them into the readiness framework.
