Job summary

Caixa Mágica Software seeks a Production Support Engineer to own global incident response and production deliveries. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize multi-tier environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to restore services quickly and efficiently.

The role requires on-call availability and a willingness to learn across technologies, with a focus on ITIL practices and proactive problem management.

Qualifications

• Experience with system administration on Windows and Linux/Unix.
• Knowledge of IIS, .NET, WCF, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, Java EE, Nginx.
• Familiarity with monitoring and scheduling tools (Geneos, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Dollar Universe).
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, SQL; Ansible/Terraform).
• ITIL incident/problem/change management experience; strong production process awareness.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively monitor and improve availability and performance of production environments.
• Provide escalation coverage in a Follow The Sun model.
• Manage production application capacity and conduct deployments.
• Customize production tools, backups, scheduling, and automation.
• Communicate performance feedback and propose capacity improvements.
