Decskill is seeking a Sys Admin & Application Production Support specialist to join our Lisbon team. You will provide production support for WM IT Data Platform apps, handle incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stability and reliability of production systems.

The role emphasizes Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL/PLSQL expertise, Dynatrace monitoring, and middleware knowledge (MQ, Tomcat).

Qualifications

Experience providing L1/L2 Application Support in a banking environment.
Strong understanding of core banking operations.
Proven troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
Experience supporting business-critical production environments.
Expert knowledge of Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting.
Strong expertise in Oracle Database, Data Warehousing, Data Platforms, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Hands-on experience with Dynatrace.
Knowledge of ITIL practices.
Experience with middleware such as MQ and Tomcat.

Responsabilités

Provide Application Production Support for WM IT Data Platform applications and tools.
Handle incidents, service requests, and L1/L2 application support activities.
Participate in shift schedules and on-call rotations.
Prioritize and resolve incidents raised by business teams while ensuring high service quality.
Troubleshoot application, middleware, and system issues by analyzing logs and identifying root causes.
Monitor application health, availability, and performance.
Produce operational reports and contribute to improving service quality and availability.
Actively participate in Continuous Service Improvement initiatives, addressing recurring issues through automation or Problem Management.
Support Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and Live Play activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability and reliability of production applications.
