Job summary

Grünenthal Group is seeking a Global Freight Forwarding & Logistics Manager to provide strategic oversight of worldwide freight forwarding and 3PL operations. You will lead the portfolio across all transportation modes, optimize lanes, and drive KPI governance and cost efficiency.

The role requires a university degree and at least 5 years in global logistics, with deep knowledge of GDP, Incoterms, and international trade regulations. Hybrid work in Lisbon, Portugal is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in global logistics, freight forwarding, or end-to-end supply chain.
• Experience with GDP, Incoterms, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong international logistics knowledge: transport, warehousing, and distribution.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of global freight forwarding and 3PL operations.
• Lead the global freight forwarder and 3PL portfolio across transport modes.
• Define and optimize transportation lanes, routings, and supply chain flows.
• Manage transportation budgets, freight rates, and logistics costs.
• Drive logistics digitalization with visibility tools and automated reporting.
• Act as the global transportation and logistics expert for risk mitigation and change initiatives.
• Handle escalations from local/global teams on service issues and disruptions.
