Proficiency in English and analytical skills are essential.

At our locations in Porto, Portugal, we are looking for a Global Logistics Lead (all genders).

Tasks:

• Development and implementation of a global logistics and supply chain strategy
• Leading people at several locations as well as in GBS (Global Business Services)
• Management and coaching of international logistics and supply chain teams
• Management of global process experts and logistics engineers
• Responsibility for projects, milestones, and continuous process improvements
• Close cooperation with suppliers and logistics service providers worldwide
• Monitoring of KPIs (delivery performance, inventories, transport costs) and escalation management
• Promoting digitalization, automation, and innovation in all logistics processes
• Ensuring uniform standards and cost optimization worldwide
• Managing transport, freight, and inventory strategies on a global level
• Responsibility for international customs and compliance requirements

Your Strengths:

• Degree in logistics, business administration, engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of international management experience in logistics/supply chain, ideally in the automotive industry
• In-depth knowledge of transport, warehouse, and supply chain management as well as logistics software (SAP is an advantage)
• Very good English skills (C1), other foreign languages are an advantage
• Analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication skills and confident manner
• Willingness to travel extensively and intercultural competence
