Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Global Business Intelligence & Analytics Platforms Strategy Manager to translate platform strategy into practical actions. You will lead transformation workstreams, coordinate delivery across technical teams, and support senior decision-makers with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience in technology, analytics, platform strategy, or related roles.
• Strong technology fluency with BI and analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting technology transformations, migrations, or platform transitions.
• Ability to evaluate technology options and translate them into practical recommendations.
• Strong influencing and communication skills, with success driving alignment.
• Experience coordinating complex workstreams and technical teams.
• Collaborative approach to navigating competing needs and building trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in evaluating BI/analytics platforms based on functional needs and platform strategy.
• Manage transformation and migration workstreams, coordinating teams and tracking progress.
• Identify delivery dependencies, risks, and blockers across platform transitions.
• Assess platform use cases and trade-offs across technologies including Power BI, Fabric, Tableau, Sigma, BI tools, and GenAI-enabled tooling.
• Support the continued transition away from Alteryx and platform rationalization.
• Translate complex platform considerations into clear recommendations for teams and senior decision-makers.
• Partner with the Platform Strategy Director to develop analyses and materials for Steering Committees.
• Serve as a key functional contact across platform and technical delivery teams.
