Amgen Inc. in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Specialist Software Engineer – AppliedAI to design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered agents and Custom GPTs for enterprise use.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, data engineers, platform teams, and product owners to translate business needs into reliable, production-grade AI solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive platform adoption, and ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards while staying current with GenAI

Qualificações

• Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, OR Bachelor’s with 8+ years.
• 3+ years building and deploying Generative AI applications or Custom GPTs in production (OpenAI preferred).
• Experience working with global, distributed teams using Scaled Agile methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered agents and Custom GPTs on enterprise AI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into production solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to accelerate GenAI adoption.
• Create clear design docs, runbooks, and handover materials for operations.
• Build integration layers and event-driven orchestrations using tools like n8n.
