AMGEN Capability Center Portugal is seeking a Senior Associate Software Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy GenAI-powered solutions including LLM assistants and Custom GPTs. You will work on secure, scalable AI capabilities across enterprise platforms with emphasis on reliable performance and governance.

The role requires hands-on Python development, experience with AI toolchains, and cloud-native architectures on AWS, plus collaboration with global teams to deliver robust GenAI

Qualificações

• Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's with 6+ years in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Science.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience in a team environment.
• 2+ years building/maintaining production GenAI apps, assistants, or RAG solutions.
• Strong Python skills; experience with APIs, data services, or integration components.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy GenAI solutions and RI/AI productivity tools.
• Implement prompt design, embeddings, vector search, retrieval pipelines, and tool integration.
• Build scalable RAG pipelines grounded in enterprise data.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS).
• Triage incidents, monitor quality, and ensure secure, robust software delivery.
