Amgen in Lisbon seeks a Sr Machine Learning Engineer to design core services, infrastructure and governance for scalable ML and generative-AI platforms. You will partner with DevOps, Security, Compliance and Product teams to deliver an enterprise-grade AI developer experience.

As a senior individual contributor, you will lead the development of ML pipelines, model packaging in containers, and secure API exposure while mentoring teams and driving platform strategy in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years in AI/ML and enterprise software.
• Comprehensive command of machine-learning algorithms—regression, trees, time-series, deep-learning, transformers and LLMs.
• Proven track record selecting/integrating AI SaaS/PaaS offerings and building ML services at scale.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer end-to-end ML pipelines—data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation and deployment—using Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines, OpenAI SDK or equivalent MLOps stacks.
• Harden research code into production-grade micro-services and expose secure APIs.
• Build and maintain full-stack AI applications by integrating model services with lightweight UI components and business logic.
