AMGEN Capability Center Portugal in Lisbon is seeking an AI Security Engineer to design and implement security controls across AI/ML pipelines and platforms. You will work with AI engineers, data scientists, and security teams to secure end-to-end AI workflows in enterprise-scale environments.

The role focuses on threat modeling, automation, and securing generative AI and agentic AI systems, using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes within a hybrid work model in Lisbon.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong programming/scripting ability to build tooling and integrations.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, especially AWS.
• Knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle and security considerations.
• Familiarity with security risks in LLMs and GenAI.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement AI security controls for AI/ML apps, platforms, and APIs.
• Deploy security tooling and automation in AWS to integrate security testing into workflows.
• Integrate security into MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated validation.
• Threat model AI systems and translate risks into engineering mitigations.
• Secure generative AI and agentic AI systems, including RAG, vector stores, and tools.
• Evaluate AI security tech: runtime protection, data protection, observability, posture mgmt.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code security controls using Terraform or similar.
• Collaborate with AI/platform teams to remediate security issues.
• Provide security reviews and practical engineering recommendations.
• Monitor for misuse patterns and emerging attack techniques in AI activities.
