The Specialist Software Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to join a fun, innovative AppliedAI team within the AI & Data Science (AI&D) – Enterprise Automation organization at Amgen. As a Specialist Software Engineer, you will be an integral member of the AppliedAI – Custom GPT Practice team, which empowers Amgen teams and staff members to build high‑value, purpose‑driven Custom GPTs through expert design and development support. You will play a key role in driving adoption of this program across multiple Amgen organizations by partnering with cross‑functional teams and senior leaders. This role requires strong technical depth, adaptability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑evolving environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and intuitive AI agents and Custom GPTs on leading enterprise AI platforms and tools.
