Cross Border Talents is hiring a Customer Specialist for a Car Rental Project in Portugal. You will handle reservations, vehicle information, rental agreements, payments, and service requests across multiple channels to ensure a smooth rental experience.

Ideal candidates are fluent in French and English, with at least 1 year in customer support, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. The role offers relocation assistance and onsite work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional, friendly customer support via phone, email, chat and other channels
• Assist with inquiries related to car reservations, vehicle availability, rental agreements, payments, pick-up and return procedures
• Give clear, accurate information while following policies and guidelines
• Understand customer needs and provide efficient solutions within timelines
• Handle questions and complaints professionally, escalating complex cases as needed
• Assist with booking modifications, cancellations, extensions and other rental requests
• Accurately record interactions and resolutions in internal systems
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues
• Maintain high standards of service, accuracy and satisfaction
• Keep up to date with vehicle options and processes through training

Role Overview:

As a Customer Specialist within a Car Rental Project, you will provide professional support to customers throughout their rental journey, assisting with a wide range of booking and service-related requests.

You will assist customers with reservations, vehicle information, rental agreements, payments, pick-up and return details, modifications, cancellations, and general inquiries through phone, email, chat, and other digital channels.

Your main objective will be to understand customer needs and provide clear, accurate, and timely solutions, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the rental process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer support via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to car reservations, vehicle availability, rental agreements, payments, pick-up and return procedures, and services.
• Provide clear and accurate information while following company policies, procedures, and established guidelines.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions efficiently and within the required timeframe.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating complex cases to the relevant teams when necessary.
• Assist customers with booking modifications, cancellations, extensions, and other rental-related requests.
• Accurately record customer interactions, requests, actions, and resolutions in internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments and rental locations to investigate and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with vehicle options, rental services, booking processes, company policies, and procedures through ongoing training.

Requirements:

• Language Skills: Fluent in French (C1/C2 level) and English (B2 level)
• Eligibility: EU citizenship or valid Portuguese residency card
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Support
• Skills: Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities
