Job summary

KCS IT, based in Lisbon, is seeking an amazing mid-level Application Support specialist. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in production, working with Linux/Windows systems, cloud platforms, and ITSM processes. Fluency in French is mandatory, and you must reside in Portugal to work legally.

The role offers hybrid work options and opportunities across international projects. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure high availability

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Application Support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Basic understanding of networking, APIs, and middleware.
• Good scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
• Experience working with ITSM tools and Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in French (mandatory).
• Must be currently residing in Portugal and legally authorized to work in the country.

• Ensure application availability, stability, and performance.

The amazing you, will have:

• Proven experience in Application Support or a similar role;
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems;
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management;

• Experience supporting critical production environments;
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines;
• Cloud certifications or Linux certifications.
