Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/React) for remote work in Portugal. You’ll design and build robust REST APIs, craft microservices, and own CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure).

Strong TDD, DDD, and Agile practices are essential, along with solid Git collaboration and clean code discipline. With 5+ years of hands-on development, you’ll work across modern tech stacks, contribute to architecture decisions, and deliver high-quality software for diverse

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer with Java and React.
• Strong Java 17/21, Spring Framework, Spring Boot experience.
• Proven REST API design and microservices development.
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) is mandatory.
• CI/CD, TDD, and modern design principles are required.
• Solid knowledge of DDD, Agile/Scrum, and Git workflows.
• Portuguese language strongly preferred in daily work.

We are looking for an Amazing: Full stack developer (Java/React)

Seniority: Senior

Type of position: Remote in Portugal

The amazing you, will have:

• +5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong experience with Java 17 and/or Java 21.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with React.js.
• Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) – Mandatory.
• Strong experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Portuguese is highly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
