Affinity, a Portuguese technology consulting company with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Óbidos, is seeking a Senior FinOps/Cloud Cost Analyst based in Portugal to join our international teams.

You will implement FinOps strategies, analyze cloud spend, and collaborate with Product, Finance, Engineering, and Architecture to optimize costs.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analysis.
• Experience with cloud operations and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud, including cloud billing and cost structures.
• Experience with IT Asset Management or Cost Accounting.
• Experience with IBM Cloudability.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
• Cloud and/or FinOps certifications are highly valued.
• Candidates must currently be based in Portugal and fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Drive FinOps governance, cost visibility, and financial accountability across product lines.
• Implement and improve tools and automation for cost tracking, reporting, and optimization.
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations on cloud spend and optimization opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

Requirements

• Strong experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or Cloud Financial Analysis.
• Experience with cloud operations and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud, including cloud billing and cost structures.

• Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Power BI.
• Cloud and/or FinOps certifications (AWS, Azure, FinOps Foundation) are highly valued.
• Candidates must currently be based in Portugal - applications from outside Portugal will not be considered for this opportunity.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
