Affinity, a Portuguese technology consulting company with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Óbidos, seeks a senior Platform/Cloud engineer to join our Porto team. You will design and operate scalable Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native environments, implement observability, and drive DevSecOps practices in large enterprise settings.

Qualificações

• 8-10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS and GitLab in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Significant experience with version control, configuration management and deployment automation (Git, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform).
• Strong experience designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native environments.
• Experience implementing observability and reliability practices (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SLOs/SLAs, incident management).
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) using tools such as Backstage or Crossplane.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, software supply chain security and policy-as-code.

What we’re looking for:
