Affinity, a Portuguese technology consulting company, seeks an accomplished Cloud Architect to lead enterprise cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, Google and other platforms. You will define standards, guide migrations, and drive cloud-native architectures while ensuring security, governance, and cost control across global projects.

Qualificações

• 5+ years designing and delivering production workloads in cloud environments.
• Strong background in Cloud Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience with Cloud Migration and cloud-native architectures.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, microservices and APIs.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Cloud Security and Secure SDLC (SAST/DAST/SCA/CSPM).
• Knowledge of TOGAF or Zachman frameworks.
• Experience with Cloud Governance, risk assessment and cost modelling.
• Excellent communication to translate complex topics for senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define and govern Cloud Architecture standards and best practices across the organization.
• Provide architectural guidance for cloud migrations and cloud-native solutions.
• Assess proposals, identify risks, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Cloud Governance initiatives covering security, compliance, data residency, cost management and risk.
• Design reference architectures, patterns and reusable frameworks for teams.
• Advise on microservices, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
• Contribute to adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML and data solutions.
• Present architectural recommendations and strategic decisions to senior IT and business stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering production workloads in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or IBM Cloud.
• Strong background in Cloud Architecture and Enterprise Architecture.
• Proven experience with Cloud Migration and Cloud-Native architectures.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, microservices and APIs.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience with Cloud Security and Secure SDLC, including SAST, DAST, SCA and/or CSPM.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Risk Management frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Experience with Cloud Governance, compliance, risk assessment and TCO/cost modelling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Define and govern Cloud Architecture standards, principles and best practices across the organization.

• Work with technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform and Ansible.
• Contribute to the adoption and validation of emerging technologies, including AI/ML and data solutions.
• Collaborate with senior IT and business stakeholders, presenting architectural recommendations, risks and strategic decisions.
