Job summary

MyCloudBook is seeking a Finance leader to own reporting, budgeting and internal controls as the company scales its cloud accounting platform in Porto. You will drive monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting and the annual budget with strong governance.

You will partner with auditors, tax advisors and leadership to analyze subscription revenue, churn and unit economics, turning finance best practices into product-facing dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting or finance, including 3+ years in a controller or finance manager role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and management accounting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience with the MyCloudBook platform. A free trial account is enough to learn it before you apply.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Own the financial reporting, the budgets and the internal controls of a growing cloud accounting company, and set the standard for how our customers should run their own finances.

What you will do

What we look for

• Experience with other accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or Oracle NetSuite.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
• Experience with revenue recognition for subscriptions.
