Zusammenfassung

MyCloudBook is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage month-end close, financial statements, and accounting rules applied to thousands of documents daily. You will oversee the chart of accounts, GL, and fixed assets within MyCloudBook, ensuring accuracy across product features and customer migrations.

You will guide junior staff, verify accounting outcomes, and rely on advanced Excel and IFRS/GAAP knowledge.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP.
• Experience with double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Experience with other accounting platforms (QB, Xero, Odoo, Oracle NetSuite).
• Advanced Excel skills essential.

Lead the accounting work behind MyCloudBook: the month-end close, the financial statements, and the accounting rules that the product applies to thousands of documents every day.

What you will do

• Run the month-end and year-end close: journal entries, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Maintain the chart of accounts, the general ledger and the fixed asset register in MyCloudBook.
• Verify that new product features produce correct accounting results before a release.
• Help customers migrate opening balances, trial balances and historical transactions into MyCloudBook.
• Guide the junior accountants and the bookkeepers, and review their work.

What we look for

• A degree in accounting or finance, and 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Experience with other accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience with the MyCloudBook platform. A free trial account is enough to learn it before you apply.
• Advanced Excel skills and a careful eye for detail.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• A professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and group consolidation.
• Experience in a software or SaaS company.
