Job summary

Daikin Europe NV is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Portugal. You will perform system commissioning, diagnose faults, and provide field technical support to our installer customers.

Must have 3+ years in DX equipment installation/maintenance, a Mechanical Engineering or HVAC degree, and an active F-Gas Certification. Travel nationally and English at B1 level are required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 3 years in installation/maintenance of DX equipment.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC technical field.
• F-Gas Certification required.
• Autonomous and responsible with strong communication skills.
• Available to travel nationally within Portugal.
• English knowledge at B1 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning: validation, configuration and testing.
• Diagnose and repair faults on DX equipment.
• Provide technical field support to installer customers.
• Ensure expert in-house technical support and escalation as needed.

We are currently strengthening our team in Portugal and are looking for a Field Service Technician to integrate the DX area.

Your role

As a Field Service Technician, you will play an essential role in technical support to our partners, ensuring the correct functioning of our equipment.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Perform system commissioning (validation, configuration and testing)
• Diagnosing and repairing faults
• Provide technical assistance in the field to installer customers
• Ensure expert in-house technical support

What we are looking for

• Minimum experience of 3 years in installation/maintenance of DX equipment
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical course in the area of HVAC
• F-Gas Certification
• Autonomous, responsible profile with good communication skills
• Availability to travel nationally
• Knowledge of English (min. B1)
