Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Functional Tester to design, execute, and refine test plans for critical software systems in a multinational context.

You will document defects with Jira, perform SQL data validation, and contribute to QA processes while embracing a hybrid work model in Lisbon (2-3 days on-site).

Fluency in English and French at B2 level is mandatory, and you must be eligible to work in Portugal, joining a company that values integrity, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a Functional Testing role, ideally senior.
• Solid experience with Jira, Confluence, and Squash for test management.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and testing.
• Fluency in English (B2) and French (B2) is mandatory.
• Hybrid work model in Lisbon, office on-site 2–3 days per week.
• Eligible to work in Portugal (EU citizen or valid permit).

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications as a Senior Functional Tester.
• Identify, document, and track software defects efficiently using Jira, ensuring their proper resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to thoroughly understand system requirements and functional specifications.
• Perform database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity and verify system behavior accurately.
• Utilize Confluence for systematic documentation and efficient knowledge sharing related to testing processes and results.
• Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and overall quality assurance processes.
