Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Executive Director to guide Global Clinical Development, shaping strategic delivery and differentiating proposals to expand a profitable portfolio in rare diseases and pediatrics across Therapeutic Areas. The role engages cross-functional teams and leads governance, performance measures and succession planning within GenMed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in R&D/clinical research with pharma/CRO experience.
• 5+ years global leadership in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Established senior client relationships across pharma/biotech.
• Strong financial acumen (P&L, budgeting, forecasting).

Responsibilities

• Leads commercial growth with innovative trial solutions across Therapeutic Areas.
• Builds senior relationships with pharma, KOLs, investigators, sites and partners.
• Leads end-to-end business development strategies (RFI, proposals, bid defense).
• Markets Fortrea’s capabilities through publications, conferences, webinars.
