Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Executive Director/Vice President for the Medical Science and Strategy Team - Metabolic, with broad leadership across clinical development and strategic input for proposals.

Based in the EMEA region, the role requires travel to China and leadership across matrix teams to drive growth and patient-focused outcomes within the PPD clinical research business.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Certified in a medical specialty or subspecialty related to metabolic disorders with at least 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry leading clinical development.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Active medical license preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide input into significant RFPs with development strategy and regulatory considerations.
• Lead drug class and indication considerations including safety.
• Interact with client physicians and indication leaders prior to/during bid defences.
• Identify business opportunities for PPD clinical research.
• Provide therapeutic and developmental expertise to internal teams, including indication-specific training and guidance during trials.
• Mentor and supervise clinical scientists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to contribute to innovative initiatives.
