Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security) based in Portugal for a remote-first engineering team. You will conduct penetration testing, strengthen Kubernetes security, and contribute Go code to secure, scalable infrastructure.

You will guide threat modeling, architectures reviews, and secure development practices across engineering teams, delivering verified fixes and robust security controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on penetration testing of production systems and infrastructure.
• Deep Kubernetes security expertise including container isolation, RBAC and policy configurations.
• Experience reviewing production architectures for security risk and applying mitigations.
• Proven ability to remediate vulnerabilities in software you work on, including patch releases.
• Experience building production systems with Go as a primary language.

Responsibilities

• Penetration Testing and Security Assessments of products and infrastructure.
• Vulnerability Management from discovery to patch verification.
• Threat Modeling and Secure Design reviews early in the lifecycle.
• Kubernetes Security analysis of attack surfaces and policy configurations.
• Kubernetes Internals and Infrastructure Security strengthening.
• Code and Architecture Reviews to promote secure engineering practices.
• Secure Engineering Practices across the product lifecycle.
• Production Software Development using Go for secure components.
• Security Communication to engineering stakeholders.
• Continuous Security Improvement of processes and standards.
