Job summary

TLScontact is seeking a Platform Engineer for a fully remote role in Portugal. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud environments using AWS and other providers, while automating with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.

Kubernetes/OpenShift management, observability with Datadog/ELK/Grafana, and collaboration with dev teams are essential. Strong security and documentation practices are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Hands-on with AWS and Kubernetes, plus Terraform/Ansible/Packer.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud environments.
• Automate with IaC to ensure consistency across environments.
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and Helm deployments.
• Build monitoring, logging, and dashboards (Datadog, ELK, Grafana).
• Collaborate with development teams on deployments and performance tuning.
• Apply secure configurations and maintain compliance with policies.
• Document infrastructure, scripts, and tooling for knowledge sharing.
