SIXT in Lisbon is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own the end-to-end delivery of Strategic Fleet Planning. You will grow a colocated team in Portugal, coach engineers toward full-stack ownership, and tackle high-impact work across SIXT's tech stack as priorities shift.

You will partner with Product, Data Science, and stakeholders to ship data-driven software that informs fleet decisions, while driving AI adoption and securing cross-functional collaboration across time zones.

Qualificações

• Proven track record of building, leading, and growing software engineering teams.
• Hands-on production experience in Java or Golang on AWS.
• Experience with Postgres and event-driven systems like Kafka.
• Ability to run AI-assisted engineering workflows and assess AI output for engineering judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery of Strategic Fleet Planning end-to-end, partnering with Product, Data Science, and Business stakeholders.
• Lead and grow a colocated engineering team in Portugal, coaching engineers toward technical autonomy and ownership.
• Take on rotating high-impact projects across SIXT's tech stack as priorities shift.
• Collaborate with peer EMs on cross-cutting initiatives (AI adoption, security).
• Act as a real product partner, owning backlog and communicating business impact.
