Job summary

Orica Limited in Lisbon seeks a Project Management Lead to provide leadership across the EMECA portfolio of capital and business projects. You will establish priorities, strengthen planning and forecasting, and ensure governance, safety and project-management requirements are met.

You will manage a small team and work with regional leaders, engineering resources and local project managers to deliver high-value initiatives and ensure capital reporting and SAP governance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Structured, disciplined approach to project management with clear plans and governance.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects or overseeing a project portfolio including forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously with competing priorities and strong stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of the EMECA portfolio of capital and business projects.
• Maintain visibility of regional project portfolio, including status, timelines, expenditure and risks.
• Coordinate regional project review and prioritization with business leaders.
• Support capital planning and forecasting and maintain control over CAPEX.
• Lead delivery of higher-value, higher-risk projects from definition to handover.
• Establish clear project scopes, budgets, schedules and governance arrangements.
• Monitor and communicate project performance to regional leaders and stakeholders.
• Ensure SAP-based project setup and reporting supports informed decisions.
